108-Year-Old WWII Veteran Finally Receives Medal

Nearly 80 years later, 108-year-old Lucie Anna Joan Fuller has finally received the War Medal in Fergus, surrounded by family and friends.
Here’s what happened:
• The medal is awarded for service between Sept. 3, 1939 and Sept. 2, 1945
• Fuller served as a radar operator with the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force
• The medal was missed after she moved to Canada in 1947
